50th Groovefest September 30th, 2012

Groovefest is still the world's oldest human rights music festival, 27 years strong.

If you have supported this meaningful community event. Thank you.

Spring Groovefest 2012 morphed into this much anticipated benefit May 11th and look for the Mayor's Proclamation May 8th at City Council.

Aquarian Exposition, a Woodstock Experience
May 11 at Sooner Theatre for Welcome Home Weekend, a Veteran's Benefit for the Creative Art Therapies Program at the Veteran's Centers.

Aquarian Exposition is a touring multi-media concert experience that explores the memory of the turbulent social and political climate of 1969, the summer of love, and the music of the Woodstock Music and Arts Fair. We have come a long way as a nation in the way we respond to our returning warriors since the tumultuous days of the 60's. This special "Welcome Home" show by Aquarian Exposition is presented in the spirit of
healing the wounds of the past with the wisdom and insight of the present. It is community supported by City of Norman, American Legion, local veterans from four wars, The Firehouse Art Center, Thompson Patio and Pool, Spirit Shop, and Fowler VW.

Entrance is free yet VIP tickets are available for $20. All proceeds and donations at the door will benefit local Veterans Resources. VIP tickets include refreshments, great seats, and backstage passes.

Veteran's Art Show will also be on display during May 2nd Friday Artwalk from 6-9pm. at Form and Function Lab, 123 E. Main, Norman

Volunteers motivated to make a joyful noise locally for Human Rights, Peace and Freedom in our world are encouraged to contact us at groovefest@gmail.com or on Facebook.

Opportunities include Norman Music Festival, face painting, street team for flyers and posters, chalking, acoustic sets, art show guardians.
